The Dante B. Fascell Port of Miami-Dade is a seaport located in Miami, Florida.

The port recognized as the Cruise Capital of the World and the Cargo Gateway of the Americas. As a world-class port, the Port of Miami is among an elite group of ports in the globe.

The Port of Miami is an important contributor to the local and state economies. On average, nearly four million cruise passengers pass through the Port and over 9 million tons of cargo and over 1 million TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent unit containers) are transited through the seaport. This combination of cruise and cargo activities supports approximately 98,000 jobs, and has an economic impact in Miami-Dade County of over $12 billion.

To retain the port's competitive rank as a world-class port, development plans of over $250 million are moving along to accommodate the changing demands of cruise vessel operators, passengers, shippers and carriers.
